Evolution of the scheme
Through a comprehensive public consultation process that took place between October 2019 and February 2020, the scheme has evolved in response to feedback recieved from the community. Hopkins Homes have taken all comments on board and incorporated them, wherever possible, into the submitted scheme.
The scheme originally proposed the development of up to 150 new homes, however, as a result of discussions with Babergh Mid-Suffolk Council and feedback from residents the final scheme now seeks to provide 127 new homes. This has also allowed Hopkins Homes to greater preserve and enhance the setting of the Grade II* Listed St Michael the Archangel Church and associated Lych Gate with less density towards the south of the site.
